Vitas Merkel is a Dj and a producer from Lithuania. Since he was a little kid he cannot live without music. Later when he was a teenager Vitas was developing his musical taste, until he found progressive music which was very popular that time in whole world. The musicians that influences him the most: PMT, Sander Kleinenberg, Minilogue, Gabriel Ananda, Martinez, Trentemoller. The result of this mixture is a minimal style, sometimes electro and other tunes more tech.
His dj career started in 2005. By the ending of 2006, LJ Gx (Vitas's friend) was helping him to meet with Bisquit Plum (Dj Sun), one of the most successful dj and producer in Lithuania. After few months playing with Dj Sun, they became a residents of ActivityZone night club. Being a young Dj, Vitas left a great impression with his skills at the turntable.
He had shared stage with: Alex Collings (Ministry of sounds UK), Anil Chawla (Global Underground UK), Zimbardo (Benchmarc Records UK), Mick Law (Coocon Club GER) Bogdan Taran (Amber Muse LV), DownKill (Baroque music HU). Also has played with famous compatrions: Dj Mindaugelis (Be-free), Dj Sun (BisquitPlum), Jovani (Zip-Fm, Dusty Groove), Virus J (Pro-duce ), Dj Vanga (HouseCulture) Critical and Polly (Visi-On) and others.

In the end of 2008 he became a member of "Qubitsound" label. Now Vitas is concentrated on his music production, experimenting and researching his own sound in music. In 2009 he became part of "Keen Snake" duo.
